The Houston Metropolitan Dance Center is proud of its Houston Met Too, Pre-Professional Training Company. This non-competitive concert based repertory dance company is a product of the growth of the school and also functions as a training ground for students going on to college dance programs or a professional career.

The Houston Met Too creates the setting for young dancers that is needed to acquire the skills in working with professional dance companies. The program also works to instill a professional work ethic necessary for dance and beyond. The majority of Met Too Company members are college bound. The company member of the Met Too Program range from those interested in pursuing dance careers to those seeking a highly motivated and pro-active extracurricular activity to compliment their academic work.

Houston Met Too can be seen performing as the "Curtain Warmers" for the Society of Performing Arts Performances, many community performances and festivals and their own stage concert.
