Resident Choreographer

KIKI LUCAS, RESIDENT CHOROGRPAHER, is currently the Resident Choreographer and senior dancer of the Houston Metropolitan Dance Company in Houston, TX. She is also the director of the Met Too Youth Company and teacher to many students in the Houston area. She gained her BA in Dance from Point Park University in 1999 and started her career in Los Angeles, CA before settling in Texas. Since then, her teaching and performance career have expanded across the United States and more. With a strong background in all areas of dance, she continues to gain strength and recognition along the way. Training and performing everything from musical theater to classical jazz, ballet and modern techniques have kept her options open and full of life. She has just returned from Argentina for the second year this May of 2011 where she was once again guest faculty/teacher for Congreso Internacional de musicales y operas in Buenos Aires. She will also be teaching intensives in Orlando, Miami and Hawaii Pacific University in August.
