Apprentice

Cynthia Harada is originally from Los Angeles, CA. She graduated from the University of California, Irvine with a BFA in Dance-Performance and a BA in sociology where she received extensive training in ballet, contemporary, modern, and jazz from renowned faculty such as David Allan, Molly Lynch, Jodie Gates, Loretta Livingston, Donald McKayle, and performed in works by George Balanchine, William Forsythe, Molly Lynch, Caleb Mitchell, and others. Prior to UCI, she has also performed with the Palos Verdes Ballet and Pittsburgh Ballet Theater. With the Houston Met, Cynthia has performed in works by Kiki Lucas, Paola Georgudis, jhon r. stronks, Pattie Obey and worked with choreographers Jason Parsons and Spencer Gavin Hering. Cynthia is thrilled to be returning to the Houston Metropolitan Dance Company for her second season.
