Dear Dance Friends,

The Houston Metropolitan Dance Center strives to be one of Houston's leaders in dance education, training and performance. In today's arena of both competitive and concert dancing, students benefit greatly in the areas of commitment, discipline, and teamwork. They also gain confidence, coordination, and organizational skills that can be taken with them into their adult careers.

The Houston Metropolitan Dance Center is hosting for the third year, an all day dance event including competition, Master Classes and silent auction, and we would love for you to be a part of it! The Master Classes will be held in the evening May 4th, 2012 at the Houston Metropolitan Dance Center. The competition event will be held all day May 5-6, 2012 at the University of Houston, Cullen Performance Hall. The selected winner(s) from each age division will be invited to perform on May 25, 2012, 8:00 pm at the Wortham Center with the Houston Metropolitan Dance Center's Met Too Youth Company. In addition special prizes will be awarded including HMDC summer intensive scholarships, class cards, and Houston Met Dance Company Activewear.
