The Houston Metropolitan Dance Company is one of only two Houston dance companies where the dancers are contracted from August through June and in-housed trained.
The Houston Metropolitan Dance Company introduced two collaborative performances in 2002, Quirky Works with Chrysalis Dance Company and our Summer Concert with FLY Dance Company that are now a regular part of the season. Their complete season now includes three performances per year at the Wortham Center/Cullen Theater plus 3 – 4 Educational Performances at the Miller Outdoor Theater and many community performances.
