Kerry, a native Houstonian, started dancing at the age of 5 and started his professional training at the Houston Met Dance Center for the past 6 years with Met Too Youth Program. He has performed all around Houston and the United States with the Houston Met Company and the Met Too Youth Company. He and has received many astonishing awards such as a full scholarship to Point Park University International Summer Dance Program, Millennium Dancer Award from West Coast Dance Explosion, Jazz in AZ Dance Scholarship and Most Outstanding Choreography Award at the 2008 Black History Festival. Kerry has performed and work with many great choreographers with the HMDC such as Kiki Lucas, Kiesha-Lalama White, jhon r.stronks , Jason McDole and Kate Skarpatowska. Both Jason and Kate featured Kerry in there most recent works on the Company. He has performed at Artopia 2010, Bayou City Arts Festival , Grier School Gala in Tyrone, PA and Texas A& M University Residence in Laredo,TX . Kerry also teaches and choreographs throughout Houston. This is his second season with the Houston Met Dance Company.
