Choreographer

Caleb is a native of Detroit, Michigan. After eight years of competing as a gymnast under the U.S.G.F, he started seriously training in ballet at the age of sixteen under Rose Marie Floyd. He graduated cum laude received and his B.F.A. dance emphasis from the University of Arizona. Shortly then after, he joined the prestigious Houston Ballet under Ben Stevenson-emeritus; Stanton Welch, artistic director. During his career at the Houston Ballet, he has danced works by Ben Stevenson, George Balanchine, William Forsythe, Glen Tetley, Ronald Hynd, Christopher Bruce, Paul Taylor, James Kuldelka, Lila York, Natalie Weir, Julia Adams, and Stanton Welch. Caleb has served as guest teacher for schools, companies, and festivals across the country. He has also choreographed works on dancers from the Houston Ballet, Houston Ballet II, Ad Deum Dance Company, Neos Dance Theater, Masterworks Festival, Hosannah Sacred Arts, and The Link School of the Arts. Currently, Caleb is a M.F.A graduate student at the University of California, Irvine. Caleb is setting a new work on HMDC in September, 2008.
